INTRODUCTION TO COST ACCOUNTING

This 5 week (one day a week) course will help you understand the basics of cost accounting and give you a solid grounding as you embark on your cost accounting studies at undergraduate level.

It is an introduction to cost and management accounting and includes:

Basic cost terms and concepts
Classification and behaviour of costs
Job v Process Costing
Activity Based Costing
